1 Only Intel® Pentium Class or
better processors are supportable with MAS 90. 2Netware 5.0 is only supported with MAS 90 For Windows 3.31 or
higher.
Network and Windows NT Workstation Users: Please review the Network
Compatibility Matrix published by Sage Software. This extremely useful
document will provide you with critical information about MAS 90 and which network
platforms and configurations are currently supported by Sage. It will also detail
which service packs are required.
*The requirements above are the minimum as outlined by Sage
Software. Every installation is unique and additional hardware may be necessary.
NOTE: A CD-ROM drive is recommended,
together with a tape backup drive. The above memory recommendation is higher for NT
servers and clients because the operating system requires more memory (prior to MAS
90 FOR WINDOWS considerations) than NetWare and Windows 95. These configurations
have been thoroughly tested on systems running MAS 90 alone. We cannot guarantee
acceptable performance on or support for lesser configurations. You may require a more
powerful configuration if you intend to run MAS 90 plus other RAM-intensive applications
at the same time, since multitasking could adversely affect your MAS 90 performance.
These recommended hardware requirements are
subject to change. |

Notes:
- 10 MB or more of local hard drive space required for MAS 90
workstation components.
- LAN support requires networking hardware; TCP/IP protocol
active.
- Remote dial-in support requires 28.8 Kbps modem(s); TCP/IP
protocol active; Windows NT Remote Access Services (RAS) active on the server.
- Windows NT 4.0 (Refer to Operating System/Platform
Compatibility Matrix for necessary Service Pack Levels).
- 1GB hard disk or larger.
- Windows 95/98 must be installed on the local workstation.
Requires VGA display adapter capable of 640 x 480 resolution at 256 colors. SVGA running
at 800 x 600 recommended.
- Only Intel® Pentium class or better processors are
supportable with MAS 90.
