Company Overview
While other construction software developers focus on a building’s external structure, 20-20 Technologies’ family of computer-aided design-based sales software and manufacturing solutions focus on helping builders transform houses into homes. All the Laval, Quebec-based vendor’s applications operate on a single software platform for both desktop and Internet users, simplifying both product development and user training across its range of programs.
The vendor’s interior design software applications feature photo rendering, 3D visualization capabilities and specification features, according to 20-20 Technologies. Solutions include business-to-client applications for online design and sales; business-to-business solutions for electronic order-processing and e-procurement, as well as integration for enterprise resource planning (ERP) and manufacturing resource planning (MRP) systems, the vendor said.
20-20 Technologies addresses cabinet, casegood and fixture manufacturing with products for design and layout; engineering and manufacturing management and optimization; nesting, and machining. It also has enterprise manufacturing offerings for mass-customization solutions, repetitive manufacturing solutions and productivity applications.
Clients include a range of interior design-related professionals such as architects, commercial furniture dealers and retailer, facility managers, residential furniture retailers, manufacturers, interior designers, home builders and remodelers. 20-20 Technologies' applications are available in 23 languages and 90 countries.
In 2008, 20-20 Technologies completed its purchases of Icovia, maker of an interactive 3D space planning tool, and Planit Fusion, which has an interior design software product line that is similar to the 20-20 Technologies lineup.
