A-Systems' Visual Bookkeeper comes in two versions. The SBA Edition, which retails for $79.95, is directed at small and midsize businesses, while the Preferred Edition includes customized, advanced features at a variable cost. A free trial version is available from the A-Systems website.
Both Visual Bookkeeper versions feature accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, payroll, general ledger, contact management, custom report writing, purchase orders, point of sale and sales order, according to the vendor. The payroll function works with PDA-, paper- or time-card-based systems, the vendor said. Visual Bookkeeper also includes built-in reporting tools, in-house technical support, free annual tax-table updates and multimedia training.
Visual Bookkeeper's Management Overview provides a complete company overview on one screen, enabling executives to review accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash balances and profitability, according to vendor. The Cash Management capability, meanwhile, lets users view and track cash transactions and balances from general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
