JOBPOWER stores job cost information such as change orders, equipment and payroll, and it has functions that can track and compare actual job costs against budgeted job costs.
In addition to tracking costs, JOBPOWER is capable of tracking purchase orders, inventory and subcontractor information such as back charges, insurance and retainage, or the amount of a contract retained as assurance that a job will be completed. Customizable reports and documents, such as a lien waiver, are available for additional job costing needs.
JOBPOWER integrates different functions of a construction business, such as invoices and job costing reports, therefore eliminating repetitious data entry, according to the vendor. Data integrity is additionally ensured by policies such as those that prohibit multiple users from accessing the same data, even in some network situations, the vendor said. Finally, through a feature known as PdfFactory, users can email any JOBPOWER document or report in the PDF file format.
JOBPOWER is compatible with Windows 98 or higher, though users will need to have v6.205 or later for JOBPOWER to function optimally with Windows Vista. In addition, a Windows Help Program (WinHlp32.exe) must be downloaded in order to view JOBPOWER help files.
