CMiC Experience Manager connects CMiC software systems to each other and to third-party software for BIM, online payment management, document scanning and other functions. This allows for what the vendor described as “a bi-directional exchange of information.”
Using XML adapters, CMiC Real Time Integration allows a diverse set of systems, such as BIM, payment management and planrooms, to be integrated into the enterprise. CMiC RTI allows for a bi-directional database updates, which means the CMiC software and the outside system are kept in synch. CMiC RTI also improves communication among corporate departments; one example is bridging the gap between operations and financials, the vendor said.
CMiC Tools helps users customize and enhance CMiC through the use of a UI Builder, CMiC Search, Microsoft Integration Pack and Adobe Forms. Users can build their own screens and search the entire CMiC software system for past project information as a means of predicting future project performance, the vendor said.
CMiC Analytics provides three tools for analyzing up-to-date project information. CMiC Dashboard displays project information at a glance, while CMiC Reports can be customized to fit any project need and CMiC Business Intelligence collects all project information for review, analysis and future reference.
CMiC Imaging lets users create, organize, store and manage a digital image library. Such a document repository will benefit all points of a business, the vendor said, from billing and human resources to customer relationship management and forecasting. When combined with CMiC Workflow, this CMiC software system reduces the boxes of paper associated with construction projects by digitizing documents and making them available across the organization.
CMiC Workflow allows users to send messages to all project stakeholders, and everyone in a project’s value chain -- from internal employees to subcontractors to partners -- can analyze the notification and respond to it.
