Cert-In Software has been selling its flagship WinTRF Estimating System for about 13 years. The multi-platform program can run in any Windows environment and can operate on one workstation or a network of multiple computers; in the latter instance, the estimating software can support multiple estimators working on the same project simultaneously.
The estimating system features a standalone bid summary with optional graphical bid analysis, the ability to add sticky notes to parts, assemblies or bid takeoff items, and a bid import/export/merge six-column breakout chart. Each breakout can include multipliers, divisors and labor and/or material adjustments.
In addition, the WinTRF Estimating System include mouse scaling and counting support, a line-item multiplier, user-definable template and menu takeoff systems, the ability to use fractional quantities in takeoffs, and a volume calculator.
The software is compatible with Trade Service Company's TRA-SER and TRA-SER Pro and Vision InfoSoft's EPIC pricing system. It also offers an interface with ElectricSmarts.com's NetPricer. Data files can be exported from the WinTRF Estimating System to accounting, spreadsheets and word processing systems, according to Cert-In.
