JobTrac enables contractors to track changes to a job's original contract, such as change-orders, alternates and submittals, as well as correspondence, daily logs and each job's documentation.
JobTrac can be integrated with ConEst's PowerSuite of estimating and billing and inventory management software -- IntelliBid, BidTrac and T&M Billing Manager. In addition, in 2008, ConEst established a dynamic link in JobTrac to eSUB Inc.'s online document collaborative tracking service, called TRACKpoint.
Whether used alone or in conjunction with some or all of ConEst's other applications, JobTrac also does the following:
sends alarms for pending change-order and alternate expirations;
tracks adjusted contract amounts that result from approved change orders and alternates;
tracks and stores all project-related information that an insurance company needs to process bonds, such as the bond amount, project start date, liquidated damages amount, project duration and retainage percentage
uses a built-in calendar to shows the status of project events.
In addition, contractors can email or fax change orders, addenda, alternates, submittals, memos and breakout add or deduct quotes, while the Journal Message Center stores messages and faxes until the recipient is ready to receive the transmission. JobTrac also monitors and tracks all inbound correspondence related to each job, according to ConEst.
