At Cougar Mountain, integrity comes first. Levels of security designate which employees have access to different program functions so you decide who can and cannot perform different transactions. At the POS station, staff can have different levels of security to include approval limits on both check and credit transactions. You are in control.
Our register security settings allow you to set a maximum discount percentage for each clerk, prevent clerks from deleting detail lines before saving so once they start an invoice the must finish it, and preventing them from setting the quantity sold number to zero after collecting money from the customer.
You can also track point of sale transactions by user ID and batch numbers –- a great security tool for tracking the activities of clerks. With thisfeature, it's easier to print reports, such as the GL audit report, based on the transactions entered by a specific user. You could also find all the transactions in a specific batch. If you want to research transactions, you can search by specific amounts or ranges, time periods, batch numbers and user IDs, to help you track down details quickly and easily.
