Payroll Reports Quick Employee List Report: prints a list of active, non-active or both (active and non-active) employees. The report includes the following detail for each employee: employee number, employee department, employee name, employee SSN, employee status, and other information determined by the sort by and additional filter fields selected.
Master Employee Report: prints information stored in the employee's master record. The report contains the following: employee number, employee department, employee name, employee SSN, User-Defined Fields (if selected).
Employee Earnings Report: provides a breakdown of all earnings for each employee selected (includes pay type categories, such as regular pay, overtime, vacation pay, sick pay, etc.; various taxes and types of wages). You may run the report for monthly, quarterly or yearly earnings.
Employee Benefit/Deduction Report: shows (if selected) the benefits, deductions, additions, tips, and EIC codes for the selected employees. The report includes the following for each employee: amount per period, amount remaining, last amount used, total amount used for; month(s), quarter(s), year(s), use amount running (yes or no), and sort by field.
Employee History Report: shows the number of units and dollar amount for each pay type for each employee selected. You can print the report for the entire fiscal year or any date range you wish.
Employee Leave Report: provides a summary list for each employee. It reflects the balance (amount accrued less amount taken) of earned leave in units. The following information is listed on the report: employee department, employee number, employee name, and sort by field. Plus, year-to-date unit balance for the following (if selected): vacation units, sick units, and other units.
EFTPS History Report: provides the payroll tax amounts necessary for preparing EFTPS coupons. Since the report must be filed with the government within a specific time frame, this report is helpful if you prepare payroll in advance of payday. On the day you actually deliver paychecks, you can print this report for the required time frame and use the information it provides to complete the federal report. See “Print the Pre-posting EFTPS Report” for a pre-posting version of this report. The report contains FICA earnings, wages, tips and sick pay, Social Security wages and tips, and Medicare wages and tips. It also contains Federal Unemployment tax.
Pre-posting EFTPS Report: lists all FICA and FUTA taxes for the current payroll period, in either detail or summary form: FICA (Form 941): taxable wages, tips and sick pay; taxable Social Security wages and tips; taxable Medicare wages and tips, FUTA (Form 940), and Federal unemployment tax. If you prepare payroll several days before actual payday, you may want to use the after-posting version of this report (see the “EFTPS History Report”).
Employer's Quarterly Report [941]: the Employer's Quarterly Report is formatted to print your quarterly 941 report information on the preprinted government form. You also have the option to print the report on plain paper, which you have had preprinted with the appropriate headings. All calculations for the form are taken from the payroll data files and automatically calculated by Payroll. Any adjustments entered in the report window are included where necessary in the calculations on the form.
941A Report: provides year-to-date tax history on selected employees by quarter.
W-2 Report: W-2 reports can be printed for one employee, all employees, or a selected range of employees. The report is pre-formatted to print out on the preprinted W-2 forms. When you choose to print Plain Paper W-2s/W-3s, all appropriate boxes and headings will print as well. If you purchase and install Cougar Mountain 's Payroll Tax Update, the Plain Paper W-2s/W-3s will automatically be updated to the current tax year.
Electronic Media W-2 Report: use the electronic filing option to report information electronically for the Form W-2, Wage and Tax Statement, to the Social Security Administration. This report is also used for electronically reporting the quarterly tax information submitted on Form 941.
Employee Department Report: provides a breakdown of units and wages earned by each employee in the department, or the total units and wages charged against each department project.
