The Encompix Estimating/Quoting module is designed to keep the creation and response process as efficient as possible, since most jobs that go through a shop begin with an RFQ.
Encompix allows for multiple methods of creating an estimate. At the highest level, “buckets” of labor hours and material dollars may be used to rapidly produce a summarized estimate. For a detail estimate, routings and bill of material may be used to roll-up the estimated cost or cost elements can be copied from a prior job, estimate, or a standard item. For companies using spreadsheets or custom-built estimating applications, Encompix can integrate these applications into the Encompix estimating module.
