Many engineer-to-order manufacturers prefer to use Microsoft® Project as a tool to manage their projects or communicate project status with their customers. Encompix provides several options to help our customers manage projects. One such tool is to integrate MS Project functionality with the Encompix orders. Projects and tasks may be structured first in MS Project and then used to create the routings in Encompix. Using MS Project to schedule the tasks, operation start/end dates are updated in Encompix. Actuals reported against the project are used to update MS Project along with the percentage of completion reporting by the supervising employee.
