Many Encompix customers require the ability to bill their clients at strategic or contractual points over the life of a long project. This is key to good cash management as most engineer-to-order manufacturers cannot wait until the end of project (i.e. shipment) to receive payment.

Encompix supports this key requirement through the Progressive Billing option. Shorter lead-time jobs can continue to be billed at shipment while other longer lead-time projects can be setup for progressive billing. Depending on the needs of our client, several flexible options are available.

Progressive billing is integrated between job order entry, shop floor control, A/R and Revenue Recognition reporting.

  • Progressive billings may be defined at any point in the project

  • Billings can be triggered manually or based on actual hours completed

  • Ability to enter a Customer PO for billing purposes separate from original PO

  • Progressive billing accounting to unearned revenue account(s)

  • Final shipment can trigger billing of remaining balance if desired

  • Progressive billing integrated with normal A/R billing

  • Progressive billing incorporated with Revenue Recognition Reporting and Accounting
