The Encompix Shop Floor Control Module is a comprehensive manufacturing control application designed for the routing, scheduling, costing and tracking of parts produced on the shop floor.
Labor transactions are posted manually or automated through the Bar Code Data Collection software. Supervisor functions are available to review and correct labor transactions. Employees may also enter Labor transactions on the shop floor using a job login/logout screen. Employees working on multiple jobs at the same time will result in the time being apportioned to the jobs on a percentage basis.
Materials may be formally issued from stock, backflushed from stock automatically or received direct against the job.
Complete job or item history is retained by the system for quick and accurate reference when re-quoting a similar item or for producing cost and sales analysis reports. Management reports or on-line inquiries are available for better management of problem areas on the shop floor.
The Encompix Shop Floor Data Collection system is designed to improve and simplify time and quantity complete collection. It reduces the clerical effort needed to input time data, while providing accurate real time job status and cost tracking.
Automating time collection eliminates the need to manually calculate time cards and separate out job time. The time is collected with the simple act of signing on to the system and logging on to the job. The labor transaction is then collected and posted to the job and is available for the Payroll module. Management reporting is based on real time data, without the delays associated with manual time cards.
Shop Floor Data Collection utilizes simple, easy-to-use devices specifically designed for industrial use.
