JOB MANAGEMENT Job Management is a comprehensive manufacturing control solution, designed specifically for the routing, scheduling, costing, and tracking of either custom or repetitive parts manufactured on the shop floor. Job entry for a repeat part takes minimal effort. Analysis tools provide the quick and accurate reference necessary for re-quoting a part or identifying the types of work at which your company is most profitable.
MANUFACTURING EXECUTION SYSTEM(MES) The Manufacturing Execution System is an easy-to-use, online system that allows labor and inventory transactions to be entered while work is done on the shop floor. Transaction entry is straightforward and rapid with the use of touch-screen, light-pen or bar coding technology. The Manufacturing Execution System provides accurate labor reporting, a vital concern in job costing and job status. Online transaction tracking gives management a current picture of what is occurring on the shop floor by employee and job.
Integration with Job Management and Scheduling eliminates dual entry and provides online, real-time views of the latest shop floor scheduling priorities. In addition, integrated multimedia with the Manufacturing Execution System incorporates scanned images, CAD/CAM drawings and even video operating instructions.
LEAN MANUFACTURING With increased global competition and the advent of the Internet, customers have more influence than ever before. Customers are demanding greater product flexibility, smaller, more frequent deliveries and higher product quality, at a lower price. Manufacturers are widening the scope and focus of lean manufacturing to encompass all processes that contribute to the bottom line.
