Automatically generate and publish customized, up-to-date Information Views to business users with GPS’s Deployment function. Using the Information Views function allows you to set user-defined, tailored views (OLAP cubes), with effective data analysis, graphing capabilities and report-writing, in a fully integrated, easy-to-use environment. Business users may receive customized, updated information views on a pre-defined schedule via email, by accessing a web page or over a network. This publication model allows timely access to business-critical information, utilizing existing business infrastructure to reach users wherever they are. In addition, it reduces the burden on corporate systems by working off-peak and delivering highly personalized information.
eDeployment will help you:
Automate the refresh and deployment of cubes (and their associated reports and graphical presentations) and dashboards via email, internet/intranet or the file server
Minimize the administration overhead of a business intelligence system by automating most tasks and automatically update and distribute views based upon pre-defined schedules
Create a schedule and then associate the schedule with one or more saved views and one or more users. At the selected time, eDeployment will update and distribute the selected views to the selected users applying user security as it refreshes
Process a large number of cubes and dashboards in a small processing window, allowing for data refreshes during off-peak hours, getting people the information they need when they need it
