Reference Documents These are static documents that don’t need to be approved or routed. They are simply reference documents and can be attached to other documents regarding tasks and resources, for example. HeadsUp supports essentially every type of file as a reference document, including pictures, drawings, etc.
Once a document is uploaded to HeadsUp, anyone given access can view it. Additionally, users are able to fax and email the document.
Approval Documents These include ASIs, Requests for Information (RFIs), notifications, dunning letters, submittals and transmittals, change orders and sub-change orders, subcontracts and purchase orders. Microsoft Word and Coral WordPerfect are used to merge templates. HeadsUp conveniently offers standard merge fields for each type of document. Users are free to create new fields as needed.
Much like in the case of reference documents, the appropriate personnel can access, print, email or fax the documents uploaded to this system.
