INTEGRATION IBS Asset Management application easily links cost centers and projects to the account file in IBS Financials as well as other financial systems. Reflection of transactions in the General Ledger is always optional, allowing you flexibility for dealing with the complex accounting that asset management involves. New assets entered are matched to information from Accounts Payable for easy update and reconciliation. IBS Asset Management acts as a business information warehouse that has comprehensive reporting and inquiry features that can include the range of data from all of your business processes and IBS applications, characteristic of all IBS Enterprise software.
FINANCIAL FUNCTIONS IBS Asset Management provides flexible and sophisticated accounting controls with postings on up to eight dimensions. The financial functions features include:
Acquisition and asset entry – Automatic or manual numbering User-defined options – Options for default values, screen display and screen sequence. Additional fields – User-defined alphanumeric and numeric information fields and customizable handling rules. Supplementary text – Ability to enter supplementary information – available for service, insurance, location etc. Technical form – Available for registration of technical specification of complex plants and equipment.
DEPRECIATION AND CALCULATION Base calculations on useful life, percentage or usage pre-defined rules. Many pre-defined rules include straight-line, gradual reduction, gradual increase, sum-of-the- year digit, 20/30 and one-off depreciation.

BUDGET You can complete budget comparisons where you compare budgets against the actual investment. In addition, you can assess future depreciation which includes budgeted assets for future activation and calculation for future depreciations.
INVENTORY IBS Asset Management provides you with the ability to create inventory lists with user-defined asset grouping by location, type, project, etc. The system updates physical movements and enters commitments during validation and also keeps missing assets on the inventory for further investigation. It also produces labels that will aid in the physical cross-check of assets.
INSURANCE IBS Asset Management will sort and enter insurance policy information by asset or according to insurance tables. It also features the ability for the revaluation of insurance value and report of total annual insurance premium.
SERVICE You have the option to set up decision date prompts for the renewal or canceling of agreements. Reports are available for service agreements, asset service or warranty control and the service contract offers complete service contract information stored for each asset.
