Company Overview
Founded in 1991, Jaffe Software Systems serves small and medium-sized electrical contractors with its family of estimating, billing and material software.
The vendor's flagship products, Power Estimator and Power Time & Material Billing, can be complemented by add-on tools such as the Scalex PlanWheel with Computer Interface, which transfers takeoff data and counts from scaled blueprints and inputs the results into Jaffe Software's two flagship products, and Power Network CD, which adds licensing and networking features to the two products, letting contractors synchronize invoice and proposal numbers across their network.
Finally, the Power Electrical Material Database, which is included in Jaffe software products, consists of a electrical parts list that includes adjustable pricing, labor hour units and a link to Trade Service Company's TRA-SER. Users can update prices themselves, get prices from a manufacturer or import prices from TRA-SER. (Jaffe Software offers its customers a discount on a TRA-SER subscription.)
