Estimating provides the capability to generate current quotations for existing bill-of-material (BOM) structures, as well as items that have never before been created. Copy Estimates is a time-saving feature that allows a new estimate to be quickly created from an existing one, providing the ability to perform "same-as-except" estimating.
There are separate sets of functional areas in Jobscope to separate traditional estimates that are based on BOMs from the business function of generating spare part quotes or simple quotes at the line item level.
