Procore's software helps contractors manage job scheduling, documents, images, communications, RFIs, track change orders, punch lists, and daily logs according to the vendor.
In order to increase communication and collaboration among team members, Procore software assigns every project its own email address and organizes email communications so that discussions about the same project stay together. Additionally Procore allows contractors who lack internet access to phone in notes to a daily log; the notes are then transcribed into the log.
Procore Project Home, the user interface for Procore's software, allows users to manage multiple projects. Project Home also shows users the tasks for any given day and the status of each project, so managers know what needs to get done, the vendor said. Users of this Web-based project management software also see new items that are associated with each job, such as RFIs and change orders, and site weather conditions, which are also automatically recorded into the daily log. Finally, any overdue items are highlighted on the Project Home screen in red, notifying the manager that a particular item needs immediate attention. The Home screen also highlights items that are due in the next seven days in yellow, and anything that is due in more than a week is highlighted in green.
