QuickPen offers six products. These include mechanical and sheetmetal estimating tools, an HVAC fabrication tool, 3D pipe and duct design software and a system for managing equipment.
AutoBid Mechanical allows contractors to perform piping estimating using a graphical digitized takeoff.
AutoBid Sheetmetal is QuickPen's estimating solution for HVAC.
Vulcan is an HVAC fabrication solution. This estimating program allows users to cut down on material waste when cutting, and also provides fitting input, for items such as for grilles and diffusers, the vendor said.
PipeDesigner 3D is an AutoCAD-based design program that allows mechanical contractors, engineering firms, and manufacturers build or design piping systems for HVAC, sanitary and other uses.
DuctDesigner 3D is used for HVAC detailing and to reduce piece editing and may be downloaded to a plasma cutter and coil line, the vendor said.
Tool Manager allows contractors to manage tools and equipment. This package includes barcodes and a barcode scanner to allow for tracking of equipment, QuickPen said.
