The Business Planning module provides three major functions: forecasting, master scheduling, and resource planning. For each of these major functions, the system provides the ability to create and maintain several forecasting and scheduling plans concurrently, allowing you to evaluate various "simulation models" (best case, worst case, most likely, etc.). You can then choose among these various models to determine which plan you will actually use to drive your business activity during the current execution period.
