Production Engineering provides for entry and maintenance of all inventory items, structuring of Bills of Material (BOMs), and implementation of engineering change control. In addition, the Relevant Production Engineering module maintains reference items, such as drawings and documentation, and phantom items required for engineering design. The standard 20-character item number links to a 35-character cross-reference item number and multiple 35-character manufacturer's item numbers.
