Safran Project is compatible with construction scheduling applications such as Microsoft Project and Primavera P3/P3E. It runs on all Microsoft Windows 32-bit operating environments and above, including Microsoft NT, XP and Vista.
Safran for Microsoft Project is an add-on for users of Microsoft Project management software. With this integration, the vendor said, users gain insight into progress and performance, avoid surprises by viewing a record of changes to the scope of work and benefit from Safran's graphical reporting tool, which is a combination of multiple S-curves with histograms, table graphs and customizable tabular reports. Safran for Microsoft Project is compatible with Microsoft Project Server 2003/2007and Microsoft Project Professional and Standard editions 2000, 2003, and 2007
With Safran Planner, the vendor's planning and scheduling application, users have the ability to conduct resource analyses, to create multiple reports from the Gantt interface or the histogram, multiple calendars, to define data elements and activity bars, to control project summaries and grouping, and to conduct network drawing, which is available as an add-on. Safran Planner runs on all Microsoft Windows 32-bit operating environments and above, including Microsoft NT, XP and Vista.
A fourth project management software product, Safran Scorecard, is due for release by the end of 2008. This role-based web-based analytical tool is primarily aimed at contractors who work with the US Department of Defense.
