WinMAGI provides three ways to effectively forecast sales: Annual usage forecast - very simple Flexible forecast - simple Complete forecasting - more complex Complete forecasting begins with an annual, company-wide sales forecast expressed in dollars, and through a series of steps, deconstructs the forecasted sales dollars into quantities of specific end items required per month or week. Different end items can use different methods for forecasting. Not everything needs to be forecasted. Demand for non-forecasted end items will come from customer orders or a reorder point based stocking level.
