New capabilities enable organizations to get the most information from their data
ANDOVER, Massachusetts, May 23, 2006 – Exact Software™, a leading provider of solutions that connect the people, processes and knowledge essential to an organization, announced the availability of Exact Business Analytics (EBA) 4.5, a comprehensive business analytics solution, also sold under the brand name Graphical Performance Series®, that provides users with the enterprise-wide intelligence necessary to improve the decision-making process.
Release 4.5 continues to improve the user interaction with increased ease of use features and personalization. For example, a new EBA business user interface lets users refresh existing information views continuously in real time. It also simplifies the experience with more “one click” features like sorting. With a new user-customizable Content Manager, users can adjust and monitor their own personal settings. Once the user receives the data, the upgraded content filters will provide it in a cleaner, simplified method that is accessible directly from an external application.
Beyond the user experience, Exact has also increased the administrative capabilities of EBA making it easier to maintain and secure. The addition of pluggable authentication makes the solution more secure for enterprise interoperability. The external user synchronization enables greater coordination within disparate organizations and streamlines administration across the enterprise. The bulk copy feature creates master files that then can be dispersed among multiple locations thus providing an infrastructure for coordinated master file management.
