MAX Batch “1,591” represents a significant milestone for the MAX ERP Manufacturing solution.
November 8, 2004 - Exact Software™, a leading provider of solutions that connect the people, processes and knowledge essential to an organization, today announced the availability of the first MAX release to incorporate Microsoft .NET technology, as well as added key customer service functionality, and enhanced product capabilities.
MAX ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) is a data integration tool used to access and update information in the MAX database. MAX ETL is based on Microsoft .NET technology and incorporates XML as the data communication methodology. This core MAX module now provides MAX customers with a user friendly, safe and more efficient tool to update, “clean” and transfer data in a standard supported method. It can be used alone, or along with industry standard editors (like Excel 2003 and XML Spy). XML data is used to streamline business communication between business systems.
Superior customer service requires clear and accurate communication. The challenge: Provide answers to multi-faceted business questions, based upon real-time information, which remain valid from promise to delivery. MAX Planning Simulation incorporates a fast, powerful promising agent designed to quickly calculate Available-to-Promise (ATP) information and highlights component shortages. Visibility extends down through potential shortages in purchasing, shop floor and MRP planning. This information provides immediate feedback for meeting customer expectations when establishing delivery dates.
