Exact Macola and e-Synergy customers can access tightly coupled solution for compliance management, warehouse management and business analysis
ANDOVER, Mass. – January 10, 2005 – Exact Software™, a leading provider of solutions that connect the people, processes and knowledge essential to an organization, today announced the availability of new upgrades for Exact Macola, the company’s mid-market ERP solution, and e-Synergy, its business process solution.
Version 340 adds new features and enhancements based on input from customers and partners, allowing them to extend the value they can leverage from Exact’s core product offerings. The products are tightly coupled, offering a number of new capabilities including support for compliance management and integration with Exact’s warehouse management and business analytics offerings.

Organizations looking to address newly tightened compliance requirements can leverage the Version 340 upgrades to Exact Macola to track and report internal processes required as part of FDA Part 11, ISO or Sarbanes-Oxley compliance filings. Utilizing the benefits provided by Version 340, Exact Macola customers can now tie-in the functionality of the Exact Warehouse Management System, a full-featured WMS offering RF data collection, picking, label printing, packing and pallet management; and Exact Business Analytics, a set of pre-built business intelligence tools that unlock value from internal information storehouses.
Other upgrades include:- Exact WebShop, a collaborative product catalogue and storefront for Macola users
- A credit card processing module with support for Go Software PC Charge Payment Server
- A new set of inquiry tools called PowerViews to speed access to information
- A fast, efficient way to manage purchasing activities
- Improved cash-flow management features and a new opening balances feature to aid in faster startups of new installations
Exact e-Synergy is a proven business process solution, offering customers the ability to facilitate real-time collaboration between departments, offices, countries and outside partners. Version 340 enables e-Synergy customers to leverage additional functionality managing document versions, filling vacant positions, defining cost center groups, accessing information and analyzing financial reports.
