Exact JobBOSS version 8.2, the second major update to JobBOSS this year, includes enhancements to the OfficeBOSS® performance management module that incorporate balanced scorecard functionality. The new OfficeBOSS, scorecard gives business owners and key decision makers one place to see leading business indicators. There are pre-defined measurements that come ready-to-use, as well as the ability to add or customize new measurements. Users also have the ability to bring in non-JobBOSS data for measurement.
JobBOSS is an easy-to-use shop management system that enables job shops to increase control over their entire businesses, from quoting to shipping, in order to reduce costs while improving customer satisfaction. JobBOSS improves productivity, profitability and competitiveness by providing management functionalities that deliver high levels of visibility and control over all aspects of the shop.
OfficeBOSS is comprised of four major components: Scorecard, which pulls key leading business indicator data from JobBOSS and other data sources to give businesses a clear picture of their organizations; Trend Analysis, which allows shops to identify and analyze long-term trends via a weekly shop status; Document Management, which captures and organizes documents such as ISO procedures, company policies, and certifications; and Outlook Integration, enabling users to schedule and follow through on activities, save and publish reports, and notify users via email of action items.
With the OfficeBOSS capability, JobBOSS 8.2 can set up email alerts to notify staff of such items as value limits, or when pre-defined trends or conditions become out of range. The OfficeBOSS scorecard even utilizes Microsoft Excel, which makes it easily customizable and able to pull data from any number of data sources, including QuickBooks and Quality Toolkit. Users are able to define tolerance ranges and customize what information is tracked and define how unique metrics that are important to their shop are measured. This data is automatically refreshed allowing users to keep on top of their businesses.
