SAP Names Terrance Scerri Senior Vice President of Global Small Business Sales |

WALLDORF, Germany - May 04, 2006 - SAP AG (NYSE: SAP) today announced that it has named Terrance Scerri, an industry specialist with 25 years of channel sales, marketing and IT industry experience, as senior vice president of Global Small Business Sales.
In his new position, Scerri is responsible for driving the overall indirect channel sales strategy tied to SAP® Business One, an affordable and easy-to-use integrated software solution for small and midsize enterprises. This includes the global coordination of the continued growth and penetration of SAP Business One in the market with the development, deployment and support resources for the application. Scerri will also have the global lead for SAP’s regional sales organizations for Small Business Solutions. He reports directly to Donna Troy, executive vice president global SME indirect channels.
Scerri’s appointment comes as SAP enters its next phase of momentum in SME and partner channel growth. At the end of the first quarter 2006 SAP reported more than 1,200 channel partners for SAP Business One serving 9,800 customers worldwide.
Scerri will be closely teaming with SAP’s Product and Technology Group as well as SAP Services. He will also serve as the direct interface to the Small Business Solution division, liaising on product requirements and channel launches.
Scerri gained his extensive experience in strategic planning and operational execution throughout nearly 20 years serving in management positions in the Asia Pacific region, followed by five years in senior management positions in Europe. He joins SAP from Hewlett-Packard in Munich, where he served as regional vice president of the small and midsize enterprise (SME) segment for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. In this position he held overall responsibility for sales and marketing of all HP products and services relevant to SMEs in EMEA and also oversaw customer segmentation and knowledge management. Prior to that, he worked for Compaq Computer for the regions South Pacific, Asia Pacific and EMEA, NEC Information Systems Australia and STOWE Computing in Sydney, Australia.
Scerri holds a Commerce in Management master’s degree from the University of New South Wales in Sydney as well as post-graduate diplomas in Data Processing and Education.
