SAP America, Inc. Named Winner of 2004 Brandon Hall Excellence in Learning Awards |

Newtown Square, Pa., - November 10, 2004 - SAP America, the U.S. subsidiary of SAP AG (NYSE: SAP), today announced that SAP Education has received the Silver award in the Brandon Hall Excellence in Learning Awards for 2004. The award, given for “Custom Content: Special Strength – Simulation,” honors SAP Education’s use of innovative simulations of SAP® solutions in its newly redesigned SAP01 class. The revised SAP01 class is part of an ongoing series of new blended learning classes from SAP Education, the world’s largest enterprise application training provider.
“SAP’s silver medal-winning simulation represents an excellent business case scenario,” said Tom Werner, director of the 2004 Brandon Hall Excellence in Learning Awards. “Its simulation portrays the way people really work and uses superior functionality that makes it easy to navigate the content and scenarios.”
The Excellence in Learning Awards are presented by brandon-hall.com, one of the e-learning industry’s leading research and consulting firms. Now in its 10th year, the awards program showcases exceptional work by providing feedback and benchmarking to entrants in an overall effort to help advance the e-learning industry. This year, entries were submitted in three categories: outstanding learning programs and initiatives, custom content and innovative technology. Entries were evaluated by judges with expertise in instructional design, online learning and the implementation of e-learning.
SAP was recognized during an awards ceremony and dinner held on Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2004, in San Francisco, Calif., as part of the 2004 Training Fall Conference & Expo, held Oct. 11-13, 2004. Winners are listed at www.brandon-hall.com.
