SYSPRO Customer Selected “Manufacturer of the Year” |

November 18, 2004 – SYSPRO, a leading provider of enterprise software, has announced that SYSPRO customer, Storm Copper Components Co., has been selected “Manufacturer of the Year” in the Small Market Category by Start Magazine in cooperation with the Edward K. Warren Foundation.
The naming of Storm Copper was based on “how well the company is embracing today’s challenges, a proven track record of job growth, corporate revenues and capital investments, the ability to overcome competitive hurdles and a strong commitment to its workforce.”
Storm Copper, located in Decatur, Tenn., is a privately held "custom shop” that designs and manufactures cable assemblies and copper high voltage connectors for the telecommunications industry. The company implemented an integrated SYSPRO ERP/CRM software solution to achieve: efficient MRP, single point data entry, tracking and costing work orders on the floor, improved inventory control, sophisticated financial reporting, enhanced customer service and accurate real-time cost modeling.
The “Manufacturer of the Year” judges included the Edward K. Warren Foundation, the Chicago Manufacturing Center, a division of the Manufacturing Extension Partnership and Specialty Publishing, the parent of Start Magazine, “the voice of the manufacturing executive.”
