PTC's Pro/ENGINEER, a 3D CAD software package, comes in one of five versions -- Foundation XE, Advanced SE, Advanced XE, Enterprise SE and Enterprise XE. Of course, each consecutive package adds features, but many functions are standard in all versions, including surfacing, assembly modeling, simulation features and integrated Web capabilities.
Pro/ENGINEER CAD software allows for solid, sheetmetal and weld modeling, as well as cabling and piping design in the Enterprise versions. There is also digital human modeling, design validation and support for drawings and annotations.
