Dynamic Systems provides bar-code equipment, systems and consulting services for items as varied as screwdrivers, salmon and spreadsheets. In May 2008 the company acquired EDP System Services, a developer of inventory and bar code tracking software.
Dynamic Systems now sells and supports EDP's software, which is already in use at many manufacturing, professional services and healthcare facilities, as well as almost all fish-processing plants in Alaska. The companies have combined their expertise to sell the CheckMate suite of bar code tracking software to an even more diverse customer base -- including contractors looking to improve profits by improving how they manage their inventory of tools, equipment and supplies....
