Chief Architect has been developing and selling 3-D residential design software since 1991.
Last year, the firm rolled out a certification program designed to demonstrate users' proficiency in its products. In addition, in the fall of 2008 Chief Architect began offering a Support & Software Assurance program that, for $395, gives users access to newer versions of its residential design software, high-level technical support, additional training CDs and discounted training seminars.
Chief Architect is a member of industry organizations such as the National Association of Home Builders, the National Kitchens & Bath Association and the American Institute of Building Design.
