EPCWorks is an Engineering Progress and Performance Reporting (EPPR) system. It plays an integral role in Bantrel’s refining operations, which address maintenance, infrastructure revamps and turnarounds, not to mention design and construction of complex new facilities, according to the Calgary, Alberta-based firm.
Although EPCWorks was a custom creation, this construction project management software integrates tightly with off-the-shelf, including general business programs such as SAP and Microsoft Office, and construction-industry staples, according to one Bantrel employee. It is also compatible with the company's internal engineering, procurement and accounting software programs.
